Im opening another blog challenge! The theme this time is to use accessories in an unusual way. e.g in this post I'm wearing a rib cadge :)



I got inspired by the last collection by Katie Eary (Rl designer not SL) Her works really something special so if your into slightly out there menswear i suggest googling her.

The outfit its self would be very dull without there accessories, i love how they can make or break an outfit. (oh god that sounded pretentious. Ok for anyone that thinks i now sound like a knob lets pretend i said " Add sparkly things for visual yumminess")

This rib cadge is great, its off a halloween outfit which i love, I'm looking forward to getting some crazy pieces from costumes for halloween. I should mention the skin, its from the curios at the skin fair which i went a bit mad at. I wont be doing a post simply because i think everyones seen everything by now.



So for the blog challenge: Create a look thats using accessories in a "different way" I know i haven't been hugely inventive (so i might do another outfit) I also fixed the comment so can people shove links in the comments :)

It is really my honor that I modeled for the poster of the heels.

The photographer is kikunosuke eel who is one of the best artists in SL and known as an owner of Tempura SIM, designer for mandala, a jewelry store.

The heels are so graceful and stylish.

The strings around the ankle are delicate and elegant.  They make our legs look sexy.

Since undertaking the shoot for the September issue of Second Style, returning to the constraints of the blog has seemed a little flat for me. I very often have so many ideas for shoots that just won’t work in a blog format and feel that it is possible to do so much more (and indeed less) with a magazine layout. To cut a shortish story even shorter, I have decided to complement this blog with a small digital magazine which I’ve been working on as well as an exciting project for caLLie cLine (more news about that another day!). The magazine will be not-for-profit; I don’t envisage taking paid for advertising placement or reviews and I certainly don’t intend competing with the amazing publications that are already out there (of which I am a huge fan!). However, I hope that I can help out people who have supported me by promoting their work in the magazine. I’m delighted to say that some friends have offered to contribute to the magazine including the brilliant Anya Ohmai and Chance Greatrex so expect to see some content from them … squeee! You’ll find a sneak preview below and I’ll post here as soon as the magazine is launched together with details on how to get hold of a copy if you’d like one. If you’d like to be notified automatically when the magazine is published, you can always sign up for the feeds at http://dollyewing.wordpress.com/feed/.

If you’re a designer and would like your creations included within the magazine, please feel free to send me copies of your work. I can’t promise that I’ll include it, but I will if I really love it . Bye for now!

Hey there, short post but! I made another shirt yesterday. Another piece from the wild things collection! I hope you guys like it. Its a baseball style tee with a lined pattern on the front and back of the shirt. It's got black sleeves with rolled sculpted prim cuffs! I had some trouble with the bottom sculpt. The wrinkles didn't come out as well as I wanted but I hope you guys like it. It's a fun crazy bold funkster shirt!! 120L Thanks! Have a great day<3

Today I made two things this past week and a half. I made some tights and a sweater dress. They’re called “Where the Wild Things Are” Tights and “Terry Tunic Sweater Dress”. Both items I was inspired to draw off of my favourite clothing site. I’m sure you’re all aware which that is. If not I’m not telling. A girl never kisses and tells, sillies. Anyways it took a while because my tablet broke and then I was swamped with a lot of real life events, drama and a baby. I’m happy though to say that I’ve made some and I like what I have made! I hope you all like it too. I know the move “Where the wild things are” is huge right now and I loved the trailer, can’t wait to see it. I have to admit I’ve forgotten the story book. I know I read it and it scared me when I was a child, but I can’t remember how it goes. Anyways!! Here are the pictures! See for yourself.
