It was Sunday afternoon, i was home, bored and had nothing to do, when i remembered that my granny used to take me to a place where they run old movies, from the very beginning of 20 century ‘till the end of 60’s.
I decided to go, so i took a shower, chose my outfit in an impressive quickness and ran to take the bus.
When i arrived, i almost could see my granny besides me, smiling and saying ‘pretty little lady don’t let me forget to take our icecreams when the movie ends”. So i bought my ticked and noticed that they still were giving out icecreams for free for those who watches movies there. When i came in, nearly all chairs were occupied, but there was one place next to an old piano, so i sat there and waited until the movie begin.
I was very amazed, actually, i don’t really know what happened, but the lights were already off and the only light that i could see were the street lights and everybody has left, i was alone in a darkned room. Then a man who works there came to me saying in a gentle way that i couldn’t stay there for any more minute, because it was already late and they were closing the place, he also told me that the icecream man is very old and couldn’t wait any longer for me, because he lives too far from work, but before he closes his stand he saved me one icecream.
So i took the icecream, thanked the man and started to lick my icecream, it was tasting heavenly, it was tasting like my childhood.
I was about to turn around to go away when i lost my balance and accidently dropped my icecream
i think i was too sentitive, that place was full of meanings and suddenly tears were falling from my eyes
i think i made the worst frowning face ever, because the man’s mounth widened a lot! I almost laugh when i looked at his expression and someone whispered in my ears: “shush, you should stop to complain because it is better to taste, than not taste at all!” It was my granny, i am sure, she should have told me this if she was there.
Next time i will do better, i will arrive early and pay more attention to what is happening around me, because the fault was mine for being too distracted and i could never allow one icecream to ruin that great end of Sunday full of childhood’s memories.
I smilled and waved bye-bye, leaving my icecream behind! FIN. XD
Yesterday i was visiting this place called drowsy when i had the idea of making a story, very childish i know XD
now the worrying part is: i am having technical issues with my computer, soneone is trying to invade my computer with viruses, i don’t know if it made my graphic card overheat but i can see that 2 of my 8 bulbs are starting to break (i can see it stuffing?), very sad to me, hope it won’t break! i can’t pay for a graphic card, i have a child to raise for God’s sake!! ¬¬
