it’s 1:48am here in nyc and i’m just a tad delirious from having a crazy day, but i wanted to take a moment before i jump into bed to style a look… mostly because of these absolutely wonderful fringed oxfords by anexx from machang (<3!). these are newly released and come in both the fringed and no fringe options in a variety of colors… and even hot leopard! i love that it’s not flat and has a slight stacked heel that give my avi a slight little lift. the shades are also new from yummy (ty poly!) and i cannot get enough of them. the shape, the texture… love love. the frames are changeable in pattern and the lens are changeable as well in terms of color or clear. so easy to throw on with practically any outfit for that instant cool. the sweater is spectacular from the wrigglesworths that i actually got a while back but never got to wear out and about. lastly the pants… they’re from emery and i really loved it in this dijon-y shade.. and adored how the pant had a slightly retro 60′s feel in terms of shape. well, that’s all folks. i am off to catch some rest. good night!

already back with another look – yay! so i have this weird thing with wearing lingerie as daily wear within my outfits in sl… and i felt the urge to do so with this great skirt from leverocci. the bra top and the skirt at first glance don’t appear to go together but unseemingly, i think it works (or at least in my crazy 3am styling mind it does). the bag is also a new release by fleshtone called the lana leather tote that came out with the clutch i featured in a previous post. the metal hardware corners are very alexander wang-esque… and i have to say, i kind of love it. you can change the hardware color to either silver or gold which is great. finally off to bed – good night dearies!

so i’m in day #2 of my 3 day staycation from work and am totally loving life. work has been a hellhole and i’m finally glad i get to take a few days off to breathe and catch myself. well, since i’m being bummy and relaxing, i figured i’d do a double whammy of a post. the tropicana skirt look was actually an outfit i had made pics for before but didn’t get to post, so i’ll post both slightly older and my latest look at once.

for the first look, i used some of my absolute favorite pieces lately starting with nylon outfitter’s new lace henley. it’s sheer buttoned lace bliss that i put over an old milk motion striped cropped tank. as for the lovely fur vest, it’s new from so many styles (<3) and in quite the perfect shape. and well, it’s got adorable little pom poms on it… how can you resist? i can always appreciate a good, well structured cropped pant and this willow one in pink from collabor88 is divine. earrings are from lagyo of course as part of the seasons gatcha event and to top it off, a fierce little buckled clutch from fleshtone called alexandra that just released that i’m holding in a winter white shade.

now on to the second… there’s always something about a heavily oversized chunky sweater knit that i can’t get enough of. what makes this one even more amazing is that not only is it from mr. poet, but it’s free. heavily slouched over a tres blah tee and one of my favorite bralet tops by emery called the tropicana (hence the name) and a no nonsense shade throne chain… yum. the skirt is an sl wardrobe favorite/classic of mine.. mon tissu’s pencil skirt in blue. the heels are from fabrizzi that you can find on sl marketplace and has a great front chunky platform to give you an extra lift.

hi loves! it’s cold out in the city and with some busy days lately, it’s been tough to post… but here i am! there are some awesome things out right now that i definitely wanted to feature. why don’t we start with what i titled this post for.. wolfe. it’s a spankin’ new brand up and coming with its first release being this super chic romper by designer alexander wolfe (<3!). fun to wear, fun to style with… it’s easy yet fabulous. it has a way of keeping you fully covered on top, yet still looking somewhat sexy. i paired the romper with a fur bolero in gold by none other than bliss, some geometrically (is that even a word?) bold jewelry by shade throne and my current favorite ankle boots by baiastice (ty sissy!). they come in a variety of rich tones in a texturally rich suede. absolutely adore the chunkiness of the shape. the skin is also new by the bodyco called ylang ylang and i can’t say how much i just freaking love it and how euni looks in it. finish off the look with a gold digital watch and a fat bun for hair and you are good to go.

two posts in one day? what is going on?! i actually just have a wee little case of insomnia… and so i decided to style another look. i don’t quite know how this look came about, but i sometimes feel that my creative juices flow better when i don’t try to make them flow…. like when it’s 2am and i feel like i’m aimlessly putting things together. i guess you can say milk motion’s new vintage heels inspired the outfit – ladylike and somewhat whimsical. i landed upon these fabulous high waisted flowey shorts from fashionably dead and just had to use them. i paired it with the top portion of an ison cutout dress where i thought the orange fit nicely with the shade of the shorts. as usual, some old favorites (like my coco floral cardigan and my doux petit dahl tights!) are mixed in with some new.. such as the milk motion shoes and lagyo bowler hat for four corners. ok, i’m finally off to bed. goodnight darlings!

hi loves! it’s certainly been a while since i’ve last posted. you can thank sl for my long time away for giving me so much technical trouble… but i was finally able to sign back it and do a quick look. i logged in after a while spent away only to come back to some gorgeous new pieces by mon tissu. i was especially drawn to the sequin cardigans in the white color particularly. given it’s right around the holidays, i was just in the mood to wear some virtual sequins in a wintery white, seasonally appropriate shade. i paired it with some brightly colored celoe pants which i absolutely adore (been a little obsessed with hot pink lately, especially when i just recently got a pink blazer in real life that i can’t seem to get over). the hair is new from lelutka – i loved the messy bun on top… the fact that it wasn’t the typical high-on-top-of-your-head, tight bun we’re used to seeing lately. it’s loose, soft, with hairs cascading down from it oh so lightly. i couldn’t wait to log in and also carry lagyo’s bag.. and you know how i am with brightly colored accessories! overall, i wanted to create a look that was casual, street chic, yet read a little holiday with the sequin shine as we indulge in this time of year. missed you all and hope to be back soon again to style another look!

unusually, i was in quite the femme/pretty mood today… which is sort of very unlike me. i find myself rarely dressing girly. or maybe i do and deny it for some reason. regardless, i think what brought about the femme inspiration was clawtooth’s latest hair – the modern gibson. full of volume, softness with a perfect little bun on top – this new hair is just perfection. i’m a sucker for soft wisps of hair and this one has it just across the face. the top is fairly new by nylon outfitters, fittingly called the princess wrap. i decided to dig through my inventory and take out my paper couture petal puff vest again to wear – a soft, pillowy vest so perfectly belted at the waist to bring it all in. the jewelry is new from lagyo as part of the mademoiselle collection from the adele set. well, you know i couldn’t just create a “pretty and feminine” look by having my entire outfit be… pretty and feminine. that would be a bore. i felt like putting on a little animal and thus the emery skirt… paired with polka dot sheer tights and some brand new, awesome booties from haut monde called the uproar boots. it comes in a variety of colors and has this fabulous curved wooden heel. as for the bag, i’m sure you’ve seen this floating around and being featured around the feeds – hawthorne’s impressive new bag as part of their first opening release. to end the look, i topped it off with some electric shades in this party green hue by shade throne to bring a little bit of a cool edge to it all. as the title says, i’d say this is “femme” done my way.

i don’t quite know what it’s always been with me and juxtaposing prints, but i get a warm, satisfying feeling inside when i do it. so when i paired my python printed tights with my leopard wedges, i was ecstatic. pencil skirts are huge lately, so you can imagine how i felt when mon tissue recently released their new colored pencils. i especially loved it in this greenish teal color that went oh so perfectly with my jungle-like legs and feet. the bag is new from nha! and is fiercely studed razor sharp spikes and large, round studs. the jewelry, also new, from lagyo is part of gyo’s new mademoiselle collection. i’m obsessed with the necklace and want to wrap it around my neck irl with a nice, crisp white collared shirt and a flowey maxi skirt. as for the top… by none other than my current fave, ison. it might be a little nippy out to be wearing cold shoulder tops, but i had to squeeze this one last chance in before my shoulders start to freeze! i finished the look with an old pair of epoque round circular shades in a muted mint color.. topped off by some pouty black lips. it’s getting cold out, so stay warm everyone!

while i don’t wear headwraps so much irl, i do love a great solid headwrap in sl to hold up my ombre hair. the ‘do is new from vive9 and i absolutely adore it – including the wisps of hair that are peeking out from it. the jewelry, well, it’s from the lovely gyo of lagyo and they’re so wonderful. i especially loved the matched look when the earrings are worn together with the necklace, but of course in different shades to create some contrast (both jewelry in the same color would be too matchy!). the top is absolutely amazing… and is actually the top portion of the rather breathtaking darc dress from gasqhe – home of all things fiercely fabulous. the skin is also from gasqhe called julie and was drawn to the particular makeup i’m wearing for that great eyeshadow work and light lips. the pants are the now famous cigarette trousers from ison that i can’t get enough of. the shape fits perfectly and i liked it in this firey red color especially. last but not least, the shoes are new from leverocci which was just released at daigon alley. not only are they brogues which i love, but they’re glossy – doubley love. i’m wearing them in the sky color – a light shade with a hint of sky blue. leverocci also released some adorable loafers and a trend-right satchel, perfect for carrying around in the fall. be sure to stop by the alley and check them out!

i wanted to be sure to use some of my smaller favorites from paper couture’s newest collection. my look doesn’t feature any of their ornate gowns, but it does incorporate some of my favorite jewelry and the amazing tightly bunned hair which i’m absolutely obsessed with. i’ve been in need of a great emerald necklace, and i’m so glad p.c. answered my wish for one. as for the ring, i’ve always been a huge fan of p.c. rings… so you know i had to get a few for my ring collection. the top is brightly colored in a great silhouette, latest from emery which i just love. those big sleeves and the striking contrast colored strip down the middle.. yum! the shoes are also new from baiastice called the nicki ankle boot… and the shape is to die for. a super thin stiletto heel paired with a thick, chunky platform… all in the shape of a fiercely great ankle boot. the shoe comes in a variety of colors, including a striking red which i just adore… so be sure to go get yourself a shade!

so, i’m not quite sure if we’re going through an indian summer, but i’m starting to get a little irritated at how i’m still unable to wear some of my favorite fall pieces that i have been dying to wear lately. thankfully, in the pixel world, i can wear a fabulous colored fur stole that i’d possibly have to wait another 3 months to wear irl. colored fur is absolutely amazing and bloomingdales is standing all behind it – i adore it. i was ecstatic when i saw some at bliss couture in a variety of colored pairings… this navy and marigold color being one of my faves. i love mixing casual with fancy – a comfy tiger sweater from milk motion with the bottom lace portion of a mimikri dress with a luxe crocodile bag by ison topped off with transparent glasses and some rugged vooner boots. it’s all about the mixing and matching and coming up with combinations that pique the interest. oh, and i really love this anna wintour-esque hair by elikatira. i instantly grabbed it in the essentials pack because i tend to have a.d.d. with my haircolor and can’t stick to one particular family of shades. fall, will you stop slacking and come already?

it’s a crisp, fall day outside in nyc… kind of gorgeous actually and i should be playing outside, but i wanted to post a look for you all before i headed out! when i found out about ison, i knew it was going to be one of my faves. their trend right, yet simple styles definately attracted me – such as the cold shoulder sweater that i’m wearing in this great neutral shade as well as these classic white cigarette trousers. there’s nothing better than creating a look with some really slick looking white pant trousers. i’m a little obsessed with lagyo’s latest jewels and the pointed corner shades from the modavia show. as for the sweater, i instantly fell in love with fashionably dead’s open weave sweater in blood red (which i’m wearing just the top portion here) from the collabor88 event. makes for a great layering piece over my cold shoulder. lastly, the bag i’m carrying is the olsen bag from house of fox in a fun shade of blue. happy fall everyone – go out there and have fun with stocking your wardrobe up with fall gear!

hi lovelies. it’s been a while! with real life taking over and a busy work schedule, i’ve hardly had the time to log into sl. i also needed a bit of time away which i was able to enjoy for a few months. i wanted to come back and see what was going on with fashion, right in time for modavia fashion week. i haven’t had a chance to sit in on a few shows yet, but i was able to hear that my dear friend gyo from lagyo had an absolutely wonderful show. after feeling pretty uninspired, i have to say, her new collection definately got my inspirational juices going again. after trying look after look from her showing of the new line at modavia, it started to tickle my styling fancy – and so i had the urge to create a look and post. while playing around with the pieces, i realized that this dress was one of my faves. the texture, the shape, everything about it… i wanted it for myself irl. i ended up creating a smart look with it… a funky, jazzed up office look if you will. the look called for an oversized collar which i manually modded to make larger from milk motion’s checkered shirt. i’m absolutely obsessed with epoque’s new pantone satchels both for the color variety it offers and the trendy oversized clutch shape. i’m a huge fan of brightly colored hairs and thus, this awesome hair by epoque as well in a gleaming strawberry hue. to top if off, a psychedelic lipstick shade from pididdle and sharp eyeliner by cheap makeup!

hi there! the lovely and trendy sunami of emery is out with some new goodies – and as usual, they’re all so cute and fun to style with. i was especially drawn to this top with the great sleeves in which i wore the top portion of the gradient dress underneath, which is also new and just released. as for the dramatic plush skirt, it was part of a look featured in the schliesslich by epoque show. although i wasn’t able to attend… thankfully, vintage had sent out a vip package in which i adored every single look! the color and shape of this skirt, i thought, went particularly well with the rest of the outfit pieces and just had to wear it all together. as for the hair, a new release from super talented toast bard of fashionably dead (thank you! <3). you can’t see from this angle, but the back is shaved and the front of the hair is super piecey. a little edgier than her usual hairs… which is what i love about it! and lastly, the jewelry and headpiece are both by lagyo because well.. it’s an obvious favorite of mine. i feel like lagyo is all i wear! i really should try and expand my accessory repertoire a bit lol…. and the heels i’ve been obsessed with from j’s. a definite must-have if you’re a fan of super high platforms like i am!

i fell absolutely in love with milk motion’s latest and brightest blazer that was recently put out for 50L friday. i’m always a huge fan of mixing and matching different textures and colors.. especially bright, bold ones. so when i saw the blazer, i knew i had to do something with it. at first, i wasn’t sure what… but as i was browsing through my very cluttered and chaotic sl wardrobe, i decided wanted to pair the jacket with an animal skirt with some equally bright socks and shoes. i’m pretty obsessed with j’s platform pumps that come in a variety of colors and with each color, includes two options of having it with the strap or without. the platform is really nicely built and has become my new perfect go-to heel. i’m sure the necklace seems familiar as i’ve used it before. it’s one of my recent favorites from lagyo and decided that i just had to wear it again. the look is fairly simple – no endless layers (you can’t see it here, but i’m not wearing anything on my wrists or fingers which is rare!), no crazy jewelry, etc. just big, bold colors done in a crisp and (hopefully) cool way. oh! and i almost forgot to mention the new bodyco skin i’m wearing in fair that surprisingly seems to fit my shape pretty well – and i love it! but anyway, let the spring sun shine already and enough with the NYC rain!

back with another post! so i’m sort of ecstatic that the mademoiselle collection from lagyo is finally released. i was able to see some of the works in progress as they were being created, and had to hold my breath and try to contain my excitement… but they’re finally out! the headpiece i’m wearing is one of the many extravagant ones newly released by lagyo – and we all know how amazing some of gyo’s headpieces can be. i liked how the blue shade of this one went with the rest of the outfit. the top is absolutely adorable and perfect for summer to come – it’s new from love.me from the darling callia pearl. as for the skirt, simple and chic from whippet & buck for 50L friday. i’ve been seeing more of these skirts around irl in both solids and prints – so easy for the summer! and of course i had to top it all off with a nice pair of classic shades, recently released by alphavillain. if you don’t already have them, do yourself a favor and go grab them. that’s about it for now. ’till next time, loves!

hiya! i was perusing the culture shock booths and came about this super femme and gorgeous skirt from g field and just had to use it. the skirt is light, peasant-like, and bohemian. it may be a bit on the warmer side for fur lately, but i haven’t worked with this coat in a while and felt the urge to toss it on. the bag is new and super adorable from the secret store – and completely customizable in terms of bow color and the shade of the sides of the bag. it’s quite the dainty little accessory. lastly, the glasses are a new fave pair of mine – a replacement to some of my previous nerdy glasses. they’re new from alphavillain. go grab yourself a pair! it’s a wardrobe must-have. oh, and almost forgot about the skin! i found the girly pink lips so cute on cara bella’s gemma skin in polvere. it’s fresh, perfect for spring and of porcelain complexion. the look came out a bit girlier than usual, but so appropriate for the upcoming season. ’till next time!

more lagyo goodness! so the sombrero that i was so excited to try out… well here it is. it’s grandiose, festive and tons of fun to match with. as for the jewelry, they’re new from lagyo and soon to be released for the culture shock event starting on the first of may. when it comes to big, bold and colorful jewelry that look full of life… i am all over it. i absolutely adore the tri-color ring – it’s loud and makes quite the statement. i have to say, i’m also a little obsessed with this new gel/wet-looking eye makeup. i’ve been waiting and waiting for wet looking eyeshadows like these and they’re finally here. they come in a whole variety of colors, including a chic natural nude gel type. the hair is new from boon – just an overly teased and bunched mega bun and the skirt, from fishy strawberry… super femme and full of movement. last but not least, this terrific top (only for $50L) is new from gato that i just love. it’s cropped, simple, crochet’ed and fun. so hurry on and go buy it – it’s a complete steal.

hullo! spent a bit of time away from being in-world and have been horrible at posting, but i promise to come back every once in a while to try and update! i don’t know what came over me during my time away, but i’ve come back as a redhead. and absolutely loving it. what i love more though are some of the new hairs from lelutka – with the rykiel in particular. there’s something about massively frizzy hair that i find just absolutely stunning (i might not take it off for a while – we’ll see!). the hair, appropriately named “rykiel” is everything a great frizzy hair should be – tons of volume, mixed in crimp and soft-looking. i fell for this shade of auburnhaze. but enough about the hair, lagyo has some great new jewelry out (congrats to my love gyo for having lagyo win the award for best accessories from the bosl awards!). the necklace i’m wearing is just a taste of some great new items out there.. including some awesome sombreros that i can’t wait to try on and mix and match with. i completed the look with a pair of my favorite old &bean trousers, a nordic coat, emery’s lace tie top and some mary jane pumps. oh, and can’t forget some lovely lime green lace socks. hope you enjoy and missed you loves!

ever since i could remember, i’ve always been a huge fan of oversized, extra large bags/weekenders. even if i don’t even need it to be that large, i’d find a way to carry a bag of that size just for the sheer look of it. the bag i’m carrying is an old baiastice classic, another one of my older sl faves. probably one of my recent purchases from the dressing room is this beautifully sleeved top from baiastice also. the sleeves make for some great movement and make any edgier outfit instantly sophisticated and femme. and the earrings – new from glow which i really just love. they’re playful, ladylike and tres chic. such a sucker for jewelery i am.

here are two looks i’ve been housing in my folder and haven’t had a chance to post since i’ve taken the pictures. for the first look, i needed to use house of fox’s dress at sea dress which i instantly fell in love with. i really loved the pattern on the puff skirt prim which i ended up pairing with some of glow’s latest and greatest jewelry including those lovely little petal eyelashes. sort of a casual spin on an otherwise non-casual skirt. as for the second outfit, again, totally adored glow studio’s necklace (i nearly own one just like it irl). the animal print dress as well as that great clutch is new from fleshtone, a brand new line. i used the top portion only of the dress and layered a peqe navaho print top underneath and coco’s adorable ruffle skirt which i’ve been housing in my sl closet, with tags still on. finished the look off with some bright pink buckle booties (one of my all time faves) to have an outfit end up looking a bit dolce & gabbana-ish. any classic animal print paired with bright colors makes my heart go a flutter!

nothing gets me more than a great maxi and some well constructed wedges… so when mon tissu just came out with their gorgeously made maxi dresses and machang of aoharu released some very necessary tonal and animal printed laced wedges, i couldn’t be giddier with joy. with winter ending and the weather transitioning into spring, i’ve been relying on a good parka lately – not too heavy nor too lightweight. i re-discovered aoharu’s military parka and thought it went perfectly with the rest of the outfit. the hair is also new and so adorable from kik – love those natural looking bangs! paired the shoes with some fun bright yellow lace socks to create a look that makes for some great trans wear both inworld and irl.

it’s a shame i’ve waited this long to post these pictures when i had them done days ago… but here they are! i am absolutely in love with some of the new laviere stuff from azure electricteeth, designer of teefy – what a talented young lady she is! i’m all over this floral dress, full of volume and life, which also comes in other shades including a very chic nude. the slim pants are also from the new brand and i really liked it in this vibrant lime green shade. the striped cardi is one of my recent faves from tres blah’s xstreet assortment. the hair speaks for itself – the latest from lelutka and so incredibly lovely… and as for the headpiece? my favorite! i seem to find a way to resort back to it and have an excuse to wear it again. love it with all my heart. and can’t forget about that fun eyeshadow by cheap makeup – bright and so much fun to match up with your outfit.

[my good friend estella and i decided to doll up and have some afternoon teas and cakes on the lula sim - tucked away in its lovely forest. looks like estella was almost ready to get her bake on! what a stylish baker she would be...]

it’s a shame i wasn’t able to wear this jacket out yet. the collar is tremendous and so very fierce. some good news – lagyo is releasing all of its past designers united 3 items… some of my favorites from the brand.. ever! i couldn’t stop staring at the headpiece which is entirely new and was totally obsessed with it that it needed to be featured. as for the hair, from none other than drot – a male hair store with some awesome styles. i love wearing guy things! makes styling a little more interesting i think.
