Just a quick post, seeing as how my thesis is finally done (THANK GOD). Nothing special, just another spotlight on a store I thought was worthy of a little bit of limelight. Atmosphere Works has a ton of low prim furniture totally worthy of being snatched up. Shall we take a look?

I’m going to be so glad when I don’t have to do anymore essays. Seriously. I decided to step away from my stupid thesis for a moment to toss up another quick post. Maybe it’ll untangle my brain.
Just a quick blurb about the house. All the homes at Thistle seem to have these great texture change options so you can change the paint on the interior and exterior walls. The windows also come with texture change options, at least in this house. Very handy!
One of my places for shabby looking furniture is Zigana. The closet is a brand new release as of yesterday, and it comes with opening and closing doors. Each shelf is a different texture; very cute.

Tulips are out and I have an armful of flowers and a couple of free texture for this sunny weekend! Either grab the textures and start “springing” up your images or take a moment to see my recipe below for Tiptoeing through the Tulip!
Step 1:
Open up the the soft “Flower Montage Texture”:
Step 2:
Snap a photo of any flowers, keep the background as plain as possible:
Place it in a seperate layer above the Flower Montage Texture, set to Hard Light 100%
Step 3:
To soften the tulips and the light a little, copy the Flower Montage Texture and place it above your layers, set to soft light 100%
Here you can adjust the hue, colour, saturation to your liking depending on your original photo or your style :)
Step 4:
I wanted to add a bit of splattering to keep with the painted, pastel feel…download the “ink splat” texture,
And again place above all of your other layers, I went for divide 48 % for a subtle hint:

I am so happy.
Barnesworth Anubis of [ba] has revamped two of his older houses. SO MUCH LOVE. Now, in my opinion, these houses were still awesome in their original forms. They were both built in 2007, and I would totally recommend them to anyone today. However, I am all for new and improved, even on things that I think are great…so let’s see!
First is the Lamin Longhouse, seriously one of my top 5 favorites houses ever from Barnes.
I love the openness of this house. It does have the option of blinds and doors to close it all up…but why would ya? I don’t think there are too many structural changes in the Lamin’s new version – the textures have been updated and the build is more efficient (just 56 prims for the house alone!) – but the layout is the same as the original. So pretty.
The Lamin can be purchased unfurnished OR with the furniture/accessories shown here. Speaking of — I love these lamps:
Sigh. I just really love this house. With the furniture included, it’s still only 220 prims. That’s awesome. I think this house can really fit anywhere, but if you have a beachfront spot, you definitely need to check this out!
Secondly, we have my ABSOLUTE #1 favorite Barnes house ever — the Tableau Hut. ♥
The original Tableau was the first house I ever bought in SL. When I bought my first piece of land in 2007 (where I still live today), I had already seen the Tableau and fallen in love with it, and immediately went to purchase my very own! It was my house until Oct 2009, and was also the very first house I ever blogged. 
Barnes has changed up the inside of the Tableau a bit – it’s much bigger than the original, and has 4 separate rooms, where the original was mostly just one open space. It’s actually quite surprising how large this is inside — from outside, it looks like a tiny little hut. But no no. S P A C E.
Right?? I just love it all. The bedrooms are quite large, so plenty of room to add lots of personal touches. That bathroom is pretty sweet, too. I like the modern feel of the fixtures mixed with the organic qualities of the walls and floors.
The Tableau is also available furnished or unfurnished. Alone, it’s 86 prims, and with all the stuff, it’s 300. So awesome.

Remember me? Man, it feels weird to be doing this again, mainly because I’ve been sucked back into World of Warcraft courtesy of my uncle. Anywho, it feels like I’ve gotten a flood of review copies, so I figured I’d piece together a nice look for you, as well as showing off my new shoes I bought this morning.
New for Stumblebum is this great patio/bistro set from Cheeky Pea. One reason why I love her furniture, besides the colour and textures, is the fact that there always seems to be rezzable props! Comes with lots of different stuff, so you can put it indoors or out. The chairs are great. Seriously, Isla, you need to make more mesh chairs. They come with 9 different texture options, which you can see here, and a variety of poses.
You can either put the table and chairs down separately, or drop the option where everything is linked together. What’s the difference? The linked version has the rezzable props and poses that interact with said props and the table. Though I do wish some of the poses where available in the standalone chair, you could always unlink it and have it on it’s own!
This is a great house by Thistle, and even though it’s made for the holiday season, I stripped all the snow and decorations and turned it into an all season home. The shutters have colour change options, I love that!
The screen and art is also from Thistle, and man, Liz is really good about giving you colour change options. The frames for the art have 4 different colours, and the screen is the same way, though you can change the colour of each panel, giving it any sort of look. So cool.

It’s another new month at Atelier Kreslo. Yay! This month’s offerings are the Painter’s Chairs, a collaboration between Isla Gealach of Cheeky Pea and IsabellaGrace Baroque of Olive Juice Poses. And, as it turns out, I love these chairs. ♥
Seriously. That chippy paint texture makes me so happy. SO HAPPY. I want these chairs in RL. All the color choices are just gorgeous, too, and I always love the dipped look on furniture. Perfect.
The chairs are available at the AK coffee house…I popped over there to 1) enjoy the super cute set up, as I always do, and 2) to take a few more pics to show some of the really cute poses that are included in the chairs.

Big post for today! Got some great new things out for you, and when I say great, I mean grrrrreat! ..Okay, end the cheesy allusions. It’s midnight as I’m writing this.
I recently stumbled into this incredible little store, Zinnias, which has a small amount (I really wish there was more) of great spanish inspired items, but what I want to show you is the newest release, an amazingly done house. It’s a one room home with a partition dividing the main room from a small bedroom, or whatever you want it to be, with incredible baked textures.
The textures, even the ones that aren’t baked, are great, from the tile flooring to the walls to the counter tops. I love it all! Counter tops are included in the structure of the house, as well as the sink, which emits water on touch.
Remember when I said I spent at least 2000L on that Turnip’s gatcha? I wasn’t kidding. I used this as an opportunity to show off a little less than half my pot collection.
Here, you can see the quality of the baked lighting. No, those aren’t shadow effects from SL! I’m in love with the colours, blown away by the textures, and amazed by the quality of the build. Zinnia says it’s rare that she makes houses, and once you see this beauty from head to toe, you’ll agree she should more often!
And new for Lazy Sunday, which means you can get them for an incredible steal, these great radios from what next. No, they’re not just realistic pieces of decor, they actually FUNCTION as radios! If only I was smart enough to actually figure out how it worked. It comes with some built in stations, 5 pages worth, and you can even add your own and is available in 7 colours or 5 patterns.

I fail. I was out shopping in the States and wasn’t able to get this out before I had to leave. Hope this isn’t too late for you guys! This weekend, we have the second instalment of March’s SUYS which starts NOW! Again, the theme is spread your wings. Let’s take a look, shall we?
Organica has a great little mesh playhouse out this weekend. Prim total is 33, and it even comes with a little chair inside and a chimney that emits smoke. Get it for only 150L.
Fucifino offers this cute little shelf this weekend, which totals 20 prims and is partial mesh. The bird house is colour change, giving you the option of 8 different colours to pick from. Could be yours for only 75L.
Palais has a nice set of pillows, flowers, and fountains, each of which are only 50L! Each iris bouquet has great butterflies flying around it at 19 prims a piece, and the fountains, which are topped with butterflies, come in at 18 prims. Best part about this set though are the pillows. Only 4 prims and a few colours to pick from.
Trompe Loeil put out another great mesh skydome. Has the great textures you’d expect from Cory that take up 91 prims for only 100L, which is a total steal. Has an animated pond, two particle waterfalls, and skysphere with animated clouds to boot.
Second Spaces is offering this great garden loft. The whole set up is 97 prims and it comes with 12 different animations. Could be yours for onlt 150L!
Funky Junk has an adorable one room cottage. I think my favourite part of this is the little side yard. Too cute. Also comes with a loft for either 118 or 194 prims (you can get all the decor with it!) Only 150L, but for this weekend only!
LISP has to be one of my favourite stores to go to for SUYS. Pan always puts out such a big selection of stuff. She’s got some cute beds out for us this week. Only 5 prims each! They come with single, couple, and friend poses, plus some prop animations, too, and they’re only 100L this weekend only.

Today, miss Flutter announced that she will be closing cluttered flowey and will have a final sale, with all her items at deep discount, either 50% or more. She will close her doors on April 15th, three weeks from now, so let’s take a final look at her goods..

I was originally going to tack this on to yesterday’s post, because it’s the inside of the postcards from italy house, but I wanted to give Art Dummy a bit of spotlight. But first, let me show off the interior of this beautiful little house.
This is the main room, which the front door connects to. It has those beautiful tile floors, as you can see, and wonderfully grudged wall textures. Off the living room is the bedroom, which you can see a hint of through the door, and it has the same, rustic feeling textures. Love it.
The coffee table is my new favourite. It’s actually a custom piece I requested from Gala, who gladly went and changed the table top texture without a moment’s hesitation. Originally, it was part of the to colour set with the baked shadow on top, but she removed it, giving me the simple, run down top. I sunk it into the ground, hiding at least 3/4 of the legs, turning it into a coffee table. Remember, don’t be afraid to ask your favourite designers questions!
Like the table as much as I do? Maybe if you ask her nicely, she’ll put it out in the main store. ;)
But besides that, everyone needs to go join the Loft VIP group right now. Seriously. Colleen gives out the best damn presents. The piece behind the couch is only available through the VIP group as a special little present, and even though it’s meant as a headboard, I decided to tack it on the wall for a bit of added flare.

Everyone knows what ZombiePopcorn is; a grid wide hunt that’s been going on for years. But, did you know they have a store? Yeah, you heard me right. ZombiePopcorn Brand is a themed shop consisting of 2 week rotations of more than 30 designers. They got everything from the best in exclusive clothing, jewellery, skins, and decor, but I’m here to show you the goodies what next is offering.
But first, let’s take a look at this house..
Another great home from vespertine. This one’s my favourite. The textures are so worn and lovely in this two room abode with a back deck, which is wear I set up my little Italian get-away. I love shutters, I always have, and the ones attached to this house are colour change.
Anyway, the focus of this post is the new Orlaith set from what next. These are probably my favourite law chairs Winter has ever put out. Two pages of poses, the bulk of them unisex, and some great sunbathing poses for women. They also come with a bunch of action animations too, like reading, putting on sunscreen, and having a drink.
Decor is also very cute. The tea cups come with an option to have a spoon or not, and the little picnic basket not only gives you the wearable props for the action sits, but comes with wonderful shading, textures, and scuplts, just like the rest of the set.
